I ordered a 5ml bottle of this ginger fresh from Madagascar and their other ginger fresh offering, from Indonesia. Sadly, there’s no way for me to tell from the label which one is which, so I’m guessing. I believe what makes sense is that this is the more expensive one and therefore the one that smells so much more like fresh ginger than the other from Indonesia, which smells a good bit more like regular ginger essential oil to me. Anyway, assuming I’ve got the right one here, it’s the better of the two, hands down. It’s bright, cheery, and reminiscent of fresh sushi ginger, which is usually made with younger gingers because of its tender flesh and fresher, brighter taste. If you want something that smells like fresh, young, tender ginger, this is the oil you want to purchase. (I think, lol)
