ROOM FRAGRANCE: Although not an ideal fragrance for rooms, its use during times of infections such as colds and flu; may help reduce the likelihood of spreading airborne infections to other members of the household.
INHALATION: It may help ease spasmodic coughing and head colds. The oil vapor inhaled from hot water may have an expectorant effect in bronchial conditions, and help relieve nasal and sinus congestion.
BATHS: It can be used for a very relaxing and warming bath, which may help relieve muscular aches and pains. The vapor will help relieve nasal and bronchial congestion.
MASSAGE: For general physical and nervous debility including: emotional instability, headaches, migraines and anxiety. It is useful in rheumatism and for general muscular aches and pains. Warm compresses have been used to relieve sore throats, earache and for sprains where swelling and bruising have occurred. Compresses have also been used to relieve the inflammation and pain caused by boils and abscesses.
The leaves and flowering tops of the plant are steam distilled and yield up to 3% of essential oil. The color is clear to pale yellow. The fragrance is pleasant spicy-eucalyptus-like, with warm camphoraceous notes.
Caution: Keep this oil well away from the eyes, and away from children.
Very Nice. Great top note to a perfume. Great as a single note for digestive complaints.
