Description

The aroma of both of our Vetiver oils is deep rich earthy.  The steam distilled is a bit lighter than the Hydro distilled from Haiti.

Vetiver is used in many pain remedies for arthritis, muscle aches and general pains.  It is known for its Antispasmodic, aphrodisiac properties.  In skin care creams, Vetiver is known to soften the skin.  It is found in two of our insect repellents and scented beard balms.

    Indonesian vetiver

Posted by Wendy on Jan 5th 2024

I am sort of confused on the vetivers right now. I had a beautiful, sultry, buttery finish vetiver from you folks which I finished. I ordered the indonesian (lessor price) which I discovered had a harsh edge. I then realized the original was Haitian. So I reordered the Haitian but now I can not tell the difference between the Indonesian and the Haitian. But I can say whatever my first version,it was delicious.

    My favorite

Vetiver and patchouli are tied for my favorite essential oils, and this my favorite vetiver out of all of the vetiver oils I have tried. Whenever I feel stressed I smell a little of this, and I immediately feel calmer and more in control.

I haven't smelled such a perfect Vetiver since the first time that I smelled it in 1986. I am transported!
