For long-term storage, Hydrosols/Waters should be transferred to sterile glass containers with sterile caps. To avoid contamination, we should NOT touch bottle rims, or inside bottle caps with fingers, or pour unused hydrosols back into the container. We should avoid direct sunlight and extreme heat for extended periods. Refrigeration can assist in extending the shelf life of hydrosols.
Our Hydrosols are tested every 90 days for fungal and microbial contamination.

When a Hydrosol leaves the still, it will be sterile. Only improper handling or storage, or adulteration with non-distilled water, can contaminate a Hydrosol. Our Hydrosols are shipped in Food Industry Approved plastic jugs.

I've been using this witch hazel for a few years blended with other hydrosols for a face, throat, neck toner. I really like AV witch hazel. There's no scent (I've had others that had some scent) and the price is reasonable.
I love this product. I was looking for an alcohol free astringent to use after shaving because I break out if I don't use something. Alcohol seems to dry out my aging skin too much causing other problems. So far anyway, this seems to be the perfect solution.
Love this product! I use it plain as a toner on my face before bed. I keep it in the fridge. It helps wipe away the days stresses and soothes my skin. I've noticed it controls the oil on my skin but doesn't dry it out. My skin is also very sensitive, so I was worried this would cause issues with break outs or other forms of irritation....not so. Highly recommended.
