Bay Laurel is gorgeous since 2020 six years later

Posted by Susan H. on Aug 7th 2026

I loved this essential oil when I first purchased it in 2020. I bought it for a grief blend to use with Rose and another one. I haven’t blended in a while, but I had a stress headache today in 2026 and reach for it and the scent is still so gorgeous six years later. I’m definitely going to find my blend for grief and get a new bottle and make a roller. But I’m keeping this original one that I purchased in 2020 because it is just so precious. It’s so soothing, beautiful, calming, sweet, slightly floral and of course it has that green bush scent.

Bay laurel is my favorite EO for practical application - although I love the smell too! and this one did not disappoint! I am so happy with it. It works just as well as my best Bay ever did in an application for back spams and also helps me with coughs. I am soo happy to have found a really good replacement for the one I had used up it seems in no time flat as I REALLY love bay laurel - it should however be used sparingly.
