I got a sample of Benzoin EO. I had avoided Benzoin as descriptions always mention vanilla. And I don't like the strong somewhat sickening scent of vanilla. But I was extremely pleased with the scent of Benzoin. Sweet, caramelized dried fruit sugars, a touch of tanginess and a touch of vanilla. Very pleasant. Warm up the bottle to make it workable - I warm and dilute to 10% as needed to use. Lovely.
The benzoin was dry in the jar.
