Peru Balsam has a Sweet Balsamic, woody aroma used extensively in perfumes.  The aroma is soft and gentle. This resin is pourable making it easy work.

This oil/resin has a long history of medicinal uses in ointments.  It is used extensively in the food industry for sweets, baked goods and chocolate
